Your Marrakech to Essaouira Day Trip starts by meeting your tour driver at 8 am in your riad or hotel in Marrakech then walk to your private vehicle and then start driving to the coastal line towards the city of wind, the old Mogador, one of Morocco’s famous cities, Essaouira.

Essaouira was built by the Portuguese in a narrow peninsula, just by a broad sandy beach, once you arrive, the first thing you will admire is that its a small, peaceful town where you can get to relax and walk at ease on its alleys, no guide services are required in such a small and easy going town to enjoy your day, where you can get to visit the harbour, the impressive Sqala with its 19 bronze cannons lined up along the sea wall, the Jewish district called Derb Lealouj and also you can not miss having fresh seafood for lunch at one of the many restaurants of the fishing port.

On your way from Marrakech or your way back you can make stops at the women cooperative to see a demonstration of the production of the Argan oil and if you are lucky you may encounter goats climbing trees in the last 40 KM to reach Essaouira.
